July 19th, 2009 Net-a-Porter, the high end online fashion retailer, released its iPhone application, the Net-App. Shoppers can browse new handbags, clothes and shoes; read weekly fashion stories that editors publish on the Web site; and make purchases.
Net-a-Porter.com, which went live in 2000 and now has 1.8 million visitors a month, has succeeded in getting ppl to buy $4,000 gowns and $1,000 stilettos on the Web. Now it's hoping to work it's magic with iPhone users.
